Schindler specialises in the full installation, modernisation, maintenance and repair of all types of lifts and associated equipment. We can carry out maintenance and repairs on lifts and escalators from all manufacturers of lift and escalator products.
We maintain all brands. In fact, 50% of the Schindler maintenance portfolio consists of non-Schindler products or models.
At Schindler we have developed a range of lift maintenance and repair packages to ensure that our customers get what they need. The Schindler Expert Plus Lift Maintenance package has been extensively tested on both our own Schindler lifts and escalators, as well as with other manufactured products and equipment (non-Schindler manufactured). This offering has proven to be very effective and comes highly recommended by our team.
To manage a building or site you must make sure it meets the expectations of the tenants and visitors. The lift, escalator or moving walk solution at the site needs to be efficient, reliable and working correctly. Everything needs to run smoothly - all the time.
Schindler can really make a difference here. We work in partnership with you to make sure equipment operates effectively, meaning the passenger flow in your building or at your site never stops. And our repair and maintenance teams actively reduce passenger disruption as they work. You can avoid delays and inconvenience caused by your lift or escalator breaking down by having a regular maintenance programme in place.
Schindler's Excellence Maintenance Packages can meet all your lift and escalator maintenance requirements and needs.
The Schindler maintenance XL contracts range from a basic Maintenance Content Contract (XL1) through to complete cover of all customer call outs, repairs of lifts or escalators and all material costs (XL4). With the Schindler XL2 and Schindler XL3 maintenance contracts, we have partial coverage levels and with the Schindler XL5 we can provide all your specific requirements, tailored to your needs.
Schindler has exacting safety and operational standards which form an integral part of all our maintenance programmes. These go far beyond statutory requirements in order to meet Schindler’s own minimum standards. This ensures that we always deliver a high level of reliability and safety. This flexible contract structure also allows you to add out-of-hours cover if required.
Whether it's a routine lift maintenance check or an urgent requirement for a lift repair, our engineers need to be able to communicate with the office. Schindler enables this communication using the Personal Digital Assistance programme called Fieldlink. Carried by all Schindler lift engineers the FieldlinkTM application has the ability to update the engineer's status, order spare parts and remotely interact with lift control systems to diagnose a fault and check correct operation.
Safety is our Number One Priority here at Schindler. Periodic Safety Inspections are undertaken for every lift with a Schindler Lift Maintenance Contract. Each lift receives both an annual and a five year safety inspection. Schindler's Periodic Safety Inspection Programme subjects customers' lifts to a safety regime in excess of the standard regulatory requirements.
